Wow! That’s looking awesome! Luckily I have some left, which I will devour, later tonight! It is Kung Pao Chicken only with a slight difference! There’s no chicken in this one! It’s Kung Pao Mushroom with King Mushrooms instead of meat and I tell you, it is absolutely stunningly delicious! Hunan pork and tofu! Is the name of this dish but I slightly changed it into, Hunan chicken and tofu! Don’t know why, I just did! It is very simple actually, I put in chicken instead of pork! The original recipe I did find @thewoksoflife website and because, as in most Chinese recipes, isn’t my pantry that well stocked and do I have to cheat a little! In the case of this overly delicious meal it was only the chicken I swapped for the pork, I believe! The sauce made of Doubanjiang and fermented black beans is absolutely phenomenal! The chicken together with the oil fried tofu a winning combination!
