aww thank you so much for the wonderful praise :D i do think nandor is a softie even if he’d never admit to it... & he always seems much more truthful/forthcoming when he’s alone (w/ guillermo), so i could see him letting himself be emotionally vulnerable for a moment in response to guillermo’s own physical vulnerability. it’s all about the rituals lmao

Story time! So I keep thinking about the first time I heard queer as a human descriptor. My dad called someone 'queerer than a 2 dollar bill.' Pretty sure he was just calling the person unusual; that was the definition he gave of queer when I asked. But I collected currency as a kid and frequently got 2 dollar bills from my great grandma. This association for kid!me gave queer the slant meaning of 'rare, sacred.' I always dote on this fondly when proclaiming myself queer. Rare. Sacred.
