f/o who used to be so confident , so independent . s/i who upheld an optimistic and sweet persona when f/o first met them . when the pair finally got together s/i slowly manipulating f/o . little things at first , like telling them they remembered things wrong or were doing things wrong . slowly easing them into abuse as well , little shoves and kicks that got more painful over time . f/o fully aware of what’s happening but no one would believe someone as happy-go-lucky as s/i would ever do something like that . f/o slowly closing up , needing s/i to help them with everything out of fear of messing up , distancing themself from family and friends due to the guilt of not being strong enough .
