I cracked 200lbs
After a FOUR MONTH stall, I wasn’t sure I would ever see these numbers on the scale again. I thought I had gone as far as I could go, nothing helped. I even water fasted for four days and lost nothing! I had preop shakes for two weeks and lost nothing! I ate nothing but chicken and broccoli for a week and lost nothing. I was stuck between 96-97kg // 211.6-213.8lbs from new years until a few days before May.
💕👏
132.5kg // 292.1lbs to 96.4kg // 212.5lbs
36.1kg // 79.6lbs loss since surgery (gastric sleeve)
42kg // 92.5lbs loss total 💪
Ugh… As embarrassed as this first picture makes me… 🙈
That second picture makes me so incredibly proud 💞
-100 lbs in 1 year 💪
💕😁✨

One year later 🥳✨

Posting to make myself feel better 😂
I’ve gained six lbs in the last month 😩 It’s just been a rough month but… I bought a new car! It’s a Honda CRV! 🥳🥳 I’m back on the upswing of things now, I can feel it 😄💕 Hope you’re all having a fantastic Saturday!
Laparoscopic Gastric sleeve done yesterday, 17th may 2023, Sydney, Australia ❤️
My surgeon was Dr Garrett Smith and I couldn’t have been in better hands.
My recovery has been one of the better ones, but certainly not one of the pain free ones some lucky ducks get! I’ve had a pulling sensation at my incision sites and a sore tummy and lower ribs. I’ve been able to keep down fluids, soups and tablets all while my poor room mate was not so lucky. I am beyond grateful to have had a relatively easy recovery.
I went into surgery weighing 132.5kg // 292.1lbs. I started preop at 138.4kg // 305.1lbs, so I lost 5.9kg // 13lbs before surgery!
1 year & 2 days difference 😄✨
Sometimes I forget just how far I’ve come 💪
