time to drop some lore
some nascar drivers i’ve met officially:
- Ryan Newman x2 (super awesome both times, first time I was super nervous and barely spoke and he was very nice about it, first cup driver i’d ever met even tho it was after he retired)
- Cole Custer (got to see his championship truck, was very nice. not the biggest fan of his on track, but in person he’s very sweet!)
- Austin Hill (with all the hate he gets i expected to him to be absolutely shitty in person, but no! he was just a guy, a little quiet but i get it.)
- Jesse Love Jr. (before i recognized him i was like “holy shit who is this twink” and then i realized it was him 😭)
- Parker Kligerman (when people took pictures with him he literally stood up to lean over the fucking table, was asking basically everyone where they’re coming from to see the race and overall just making experiences special for anyone)
- Armani Williams (first nascar driver with autism he just like me fr, also a little quiet but again that’s absolutely valid and honestly i feel the exact same)
- Erik Jones (i literally waited hours, and it was worth it, i’m not gonna tell the full story here but if you want it just shoot me a dm. it’s pretty interesting lol)
- Sheldon Creed (not bad, not memorable. was overall chill.)
