“Y/n, you’re paired with Changbin for set painting,” the teacher announced.
“UGHHHH,” you groaned noticeably. You turned around to see Changbin sulking with his hood on.
“Is that a problem, Y/n?” she asked.
You composed yourself, “No, no. Of course not. What makes you think that?”
“Good, because the both of you will be spending many after school hours together.”

“Why didn’t you tell me your roommate was a dude? I would have reconsidered before I paid the security deposit,” I spat as I pulled my best friend to the side, nagging in her left ear.
She smiled sheepishly, “He’s not my roommate, he’s Felix’s roommate. Since Felix is moving in with me, I thought might as well. You needed a place to stay anyways, and do you know how hard it is to find a cheap apartment with your wallet?”
I pouted and furrowed my brows, “But I don’t know this dude. You know I’m dead awkward with new people.”
She shrugged helplessly, “Sounds like a good time to make friends.”

Initially, words didn’t have meanings, but it is us, people, who instill meanings in words.
I was called many names: an outcast, an oddball, a weirdo. High school drama no longer fazed me because it was so prevalent, so frequent. In the end, I ignored the troublemakers without giving them the desired reaction, and they left me alone.
Eventually, I became a wallflower, nonexistent in everyone’s eyes. Everyone except Kim Woojin.
