hi insoso, i hope youve been well. you always respond very thoughtfully, very thoroughly and eloquently. ron!mc has always been very interesting to me, she's really her own fleshed out individual person. the same way meeting new people allows me to learn things about myself, she seems to have that effect too. youre excellent at narrating, and allowing people, even those who cannot relate at all, a peek inside her head; understanding the way her gears turn. thats not easy. perhaps that's why rons become very, very popular.

i've been rereading a bit, and i have a few questions. firstly, do we think miso talked again after the initial emergency "oh my god the dongsaengs are hiding a whole ass mate from us" pack meeting. since you fleshed out hans celibacy era, and miso being sorta on a little break, i was wondering if there was any "moment" of reconciliation or whether, as they often do, they just slotted back into routine like puzzle pieces.

This is an interesting question… I’m sure minsung did talk about it privately in some way after the group discussion was over, but probably not in a very formal capacity? They’ve mentioned I think that they don’t really do big serious conversations together the way some of the others do...

I think they’re both very unsure at that point in the story — Jisung with the anxious jitters and a bit of a possessive desire to keep the secret (all of the initial lost trio have a bit of a "but you liked me first" complex, lol), and Minho with the realization that things are suddenly going to change, and have already changed, and no one even came to him about it. I also think Minho is feeling pretty protective of… all of them, but Hannie especially, here; Lino doesn’t know MC yet, and Han’s already in deep, and it’s obvious Han’s hinging something on her. Especially given how fragile Jisung’s been in the months preceding this, it just looks like a disaster in the making to the people who know him well, I think

Buuuut I also think you’re right, there probably isn’t some big moment, not of reconciliation or even as an overflow of tension… I think they probably go home and eat together and Minho asks some nothingburger question about what she’s like, and suddenly that’s a green light to talk about this, the topic is open, and it feels a lot easier to breathe. Sliding together like puzzle pieces, as you said! Our chopsticks 💛
