Crystals are also good for channeling and stealing magic. Not every crystal can do those abilities though, and many are just non magical crystals. Use that information as you will.

They can be melded, by taking a crystal and melting it inside of [REDACTED]. It only works at the [REDACTED] so make sure that you put it at the right setting, lest it turn to ash, corrupt you, or just fade away.

Turning them alive is actually easier than you think! And no, it’s not a spell. First put them inside of the [REDACTED] for half of an hour. Then, meld it into the shape of whatever you want it to be. Sprinkle a TINY bit of [REDACTED] and put it inside of the freezer. Take it out after an hour, and immediately soak it in the [REDACTED] goo. Take it out and dry it off!

They are very powerful. Certain groups are locked away for a reason. Those are restricted and may only be taken out to people who can both handle its power and use it for something that’s not destroying anything.

Crystals and crystal materials can be found everywhere, if you know where to look. (@pepperoni-the-jesterpuppet will confirm)

Opal is really good as a mana/magic conductor and is often used as a temporary conduit or as the conductor in training wands, and is also an ingredient in some magical inks. It's also really pretty. (Paragraph added by Kai)

Gems are cut crystals which is why they're more potent with power, since they were cut with a special technique to enhance their properties (paragraph added by Skye)

Nature:

A potion slime. Comprised of a viscous liquid. Usually in human form.

Origin:

Created by an evil wizard, may or may not have been accidental.

Abilities:

Can control viscosity (how solid or liquid he is) of his slime, and can become different shapes. If he becomes too solid, he becomes permanently solidified in the shape he was in. Can split into multiple parts, and control them individually. Often solidifies them to create objects he can use.

Origin: Born with very weak magical ability, experimented upon self to increase power, more data required

Physical Attributes: Humanoid, four arms, tails on head

Abilities: Magic, focused on fleshcraft and 'mischief', fleshcrafting allows for shapeshifting, magical source is biological, limits not known. Able to absorb magic from spells and magical items, thus creating a resistance to curses, and has biological structures that enhance the natural mana regeneration

Weaknesses: Non-magical damage, as there is no way to absorb it, and magical fire
