Life without facebook
Is very boring I have to say. Real life and time is so slow and requires so much energy that I don't have. But... its peaceful. Nothing to worry about but what to do next. So what to do next??? I think I'll study, eat then play video games :)

Imprisoned in Facebook
Once anyone has started a social life on Facebook, itâs very difficult to quit again. âQuitting Facebook is like throwing away your own diaryâ, internet expert Danny Mekicâ says. âYou build up something personal that you wonât want to lose any more.â
For that reason, many hundreds of millions of users canât go a day without this social network, whose tenth anniversary is today. âIn the past, youâd send invitations to a birthday party by mail. Nowadays, you indicate which friends you want to be there on Facebook.â
This is just one of countless examples that go to show the unparallelled impact this social network has had on our society during the past decade. Without Facebook, youâre out of the picture. âThatâs why quitting is such a gigantic hurdle for many people. Youâd lose everything all at once: your photos, all replies and an overview of all the important moments in your life.â
Itâs part of Facebookâs grand plan to become and remain the central hub of everyoneâs social life. Mekicâ: âTo Facebook itâs not about the number of members any more. Its ultimate goal is now to get every user to spend as much time as possible on the network. Because the more time they spend there, the more advertisements theyâll see and the more money will be made off them.â
Exactly those advertisements are a thorn in the side of many users. Ask those internet users who were brave enough to turn their backs on Facebook for their reasons, and nine times out of ten, theyâll mention the large amounts of advertisements.
The big question that the ones in charge of Facebook will be asking themselves today is: how will we be doing ten years from now? Will we still exist? MekiÄ: âPeople have always felt a need to roam and migrate. They want to discover new places. Itâs no different on the internet.â
Itâs not just direct competitors like Twitter and Google+ that are hot on Facebookâs heels. Hardware manufacturers like Apple pose a major threat as well. They change the market by making users spend their time not on internet sites but on mobile apps that rely on internet traffic.
Mekicâ expects that Facebook in its current form will probably no longer exist ten years from now. âThereâs always the danger that your users grow tired of you.â

I deactivated my Facebook today. I hope it'll give me more time to be without it.
Without Facbook, Day 3
I need to find new ways to keep in touch with what's happening in the world.Â
In other news: The urge to check my facebook is slowly fading away, though not completely gone, it is going away. But the fact that most of the hangouts are planned on facebook, really does not help my cause.
