Finally redrew that rough sketch from last Saturday and left it uncropped XD So here’s what the full page doodle looks like

Also, here’s the Sapphire and Pearl I mentioned in the last post, more specifically Lilac Sapphire and Light Grey Pearl. Went ahead and did a quick color test for ‘em, too.

Lilac is actually a "replacement” for a White Star Sapphire who was lost during the Rebellion, she’s technically off-color but was kept anyways because her future vision was still of use to Witherite.

I haven’t got a real backstory for Light Grey Pearl yet, but her main duty is to help sort the files documented by her owner and deliver any that need to be shown to the Diamonds themselves. (Also thinking of shortening her name to Silver Pearl but not sure)

Ignore Witherite’s bland cane, it’ll have more of a design in the next redraw lol

Anyways, this still has a ways to go but hope you enjoy it for now ^^

This is clearly far from finished (or even decent for that matter) but here’s a new Gem OC I scribbled up today! I really shouldn’t have done this given how many unfinished gems I already have but I’ve been kinda’ stuck on these lately lol

Anyways, this is Witherite and she’s not alone in this pic but I cropped her anyways because the other two are unfinished XD She has her own Pearl and Sapphire companions

She’s a high-ranking gem in White Diamond’s court and usually travels with her own retinue. Her gem type’s purpose is to document gem history both on-world and off-world, keeping record of past and present events while using her Sapphire to help her determine possible future events - she keeps everything written down and categorized to perfection. She’s very dedicated to performing her duties and prefers keeping to herself, so she rarely leaves Homeworld unless requested by one of the Diamonds.

I would say more but I’d rather save that for when this is properly redrawn lol I wouldn’t have posted this so early in progress but I couldn’t help it, I’m really enjoying how she’s turning out so far

Also, as a side note, if White Diamond ever disguised herself the way Pink did, I like to think is the type of Gem she’d probably turn into XD
