Catriona was bouncing on her toes excitedly at the entrance to the game. It was such a bright day, without being too hot or sunny - it was a perfect day for quidditch. There was a light breeze, too. This morning, she had woken up around 9 and immediately put on her Portree fan gear - all complete with gown and scarf, and even the hairpins with the letters on them - but after breakfast she'd had to take off the scarf again because it got uncomfortably warm. What a shame. She'd come with a portkey, and now Devlin just had to show up with the tickets and everything would be perfect. She still couldn't believe her luck - or, why he'd asked her of all people to go with him. He had so many friends who loved quidditch (nobody who loved Pride of Portree as much as she did, though), he could have asked any of them, and they weren't exactly friends... They did talk a lot, though, and especially in the weeks before summer break.
It was getting crowded pretty fast, and even though there was still time, she was beginning to look around nervously, hoping to spot him in the crowd. For all she knew, he could just not show up - his family was so rich that he could afford buying a ticket to a game like this one and not go... She quickly dismissed the thought. If he hadn't planned on going, why would he have asked her to come with him, then? The game would definitely be worth it - Pride of Portree was doing really well these days, and maybe they had some new moves... and to be fair, Puddlemere United weren't too bad either. He would definitely want to show up for that, and to have a nice time.
