10 Days of Reflection: Day 1
Hello friends! I was really inspired by the @pathandpractice 10 days of reflection posts going around, so I figured it would be fun if I did more bloggy stuff with my blog along with informational content! While I do have a lot of projects lined up, I wont have time to work on them for at least another week. Edits have been smoothly underway with some of my older posts, so I'm excited to finish up and get started with some new content for you all. Until then!! Let the reflections begin!
Day 1 - How do you define magic? Is it energy, intention, relationship, will, or something else?
I define magic, yes as an extension of energy, but something you can channel and formulate with your will, you cultivate a relationship to it with how you perceive it. I believe magic exists within everyone and everything. However how it materializes, forms, and is utilized depends on the wielder! For my basic belief, we use this energy that we can tap into created by the universe & it is inner power that we express it/will it through our tools and efforts. I see it like tea, Its not enough to intend to make the tea. To actually do that you place your intentions to make it through energy and efforts for it to be brewed. To me, While a single huge amount of spiritual energy is wrapped through the confides of our universe, yielding it is not a universal experience! I believe in something called 'puzzle theory' that means living organisms and objects hold a piece of this spiritual energy, however can only express it within the confides of their perspective (an individual puzzle piece). So, a deer will utilize magical energy much different than a human might, same goes from person to person, ameboma to ameboma. 'is your blue, my blue, too?' We can do so much to learn and understand the piece we have, but we must remember that we cannot know the full extent of what magic is, or the picture we make with the puzzle (but that shouldn't stop us from trying).
Something else I want to mention, While that's the most basic delimitations of my perspective, I also follow aspects of Consciousness Theory, Psychological Theory, and *to an extent* Biological Theory. I tend to blend everything almost into a Syncretic Theory! Granted, all of these are cherry picked for what resonated in my system, have their own pro's and con's, so over the years I have meshed a lot of perspectives into one! I believe magic is found in our will to shape the world around us in consciousness and psychological theory, I believe each persons own body and perspective can shape biological theory, but at the end of the day for me it all comes down to energy. That was really fun! I hope to share again with you all on day 2!! Fair winds friends!
