Since I had a bunch of leftover Audible credits, I decided to acquire the audiobook of Thorn Mooney's The Witch's Path for a critical listen. I'm looking forward to it.

She speaks the language of the crows, that woman. If you're near her while she sleeps, you'll hear whispers of that ancient avian tongue...
"Is your autumn-ravenous belly growling for fireside ghost stories and steaming mugs brimming with childhood memory?"
Is “A Discovery of Witches” a good read? (Trilogy and all?)
Who has read “A Discovery of Witches”? I actually remember when it came out. In the past, when I was still labored by fear and confusion, I wasn’t sure if I should read it or not, but I was curious. I remember the feeling when I saw that cover and I ignored it in 2011. Now there’s a tv show out based off of it and I’m sort of an addict to “witchy” shows, but I fancy the books more. I read an excerpt on Amazon and it was really freaking good. Has anyone actually read it? What do you think?

"What we must remember, fiercely, is that we have much more than magical beans. We are the magical beans. We are the stalks. We are the Giants. We don’t need any magic other than our own. We only need to dig deep, deep, deep down, and rise up. In flocks. In crowds. In gatherings. In packs."

A lovely, quiet Sunday morning holds its own special brand of magic. When it includes a book that was a gift from a friend, that only enhances the magic.. What are you reading this weekend?
A lovely, quiet Sunday morning, a hot cuppa of my favorite drink, and a 354-page seed catalogue... Now that makes for a magical Sunday morning... What are you reading?
The Lighthouse Witches
The Lighthouse Witches by C.J. Cooke was a good time. I have a few unanswered questions still at the end, but it was a good read.
