Those beautiful fanfictions where various characters find out about Geralt's heart and more of his emotional capacity have me soft. I just wonder if there are any stories from the other angle. Where Geralt's enhanced hearing picks up on someone else's heartbeat, when the person's not doing too well. An odd "request" perhaps, but I should think he has heard many a monster and person's life end that way, and we all know his deadened emotions aren't really so dead... be interesting to see him deal.
