🧶Synopsis:
After narrowly escaping death at the hands of the Dames Blanches, Lou, Reid, Coco, and Ansel are on the run from coven, kingdom, and church—fugitives with nowhere to hide. To elude the scores of witches and throngs of chasseurs at their heels, Lou and Reid need allies. Strong ones. But protection comes at a price, and the group is forced to embark on separate quests to build their forces.
💭Opinion:
To be honest, I have to say that I enjoyed the first book more than this! There is a lot of action, and a lot of new characters that bring new interest and mystery to the story but almost during the whole book I found myself a bit tired of Lou and Reid and their way to not try to solve their problems. I can say that the last 10 chapters were the most interesting that really make me remember what I liked about this story. And prepare because this book ends on a major cliff-hanger that there is no way you have predicted it!
