For this eerie, chilly holiday I have written some Hunting troll hc’s to fit the mood of strange creatures coming to life under the full moon tonight. So light a few extra candles and keep an eye out, and if you see any strange, ghoul-like shadows lurking in the corners where the light doesn’t reach... Don’t look them in the eye.

Happy all hallow’s eve...

- The trolls originate on earth. They came to the Magic dimension as the fairies travelled there. 

- It was beneficial for the trolls to move away from earth, as the earth’s sun turns trolls to stone. On other planets, they are protected from this.

- In the magic dimension they settled in the wildlands. They built a settlement there. 

- The nipple piercings are a rite of passage. More experienced trolls get more piercings. 

- The hunting ability is not innate. Sure, they are born with good senses of smell but they have a whole education system where they learn to perfect their senses of smell to never miss a scent. 

- The reason why they’re so adamant about learning to smell well is because their vision is awful and they’re more or less deaf. Smell was their way of making sense of the world. 

- Because of their sense of smell, they have since long been known to make exquisite perfumes. The trolls make the best and most sought after perfumes in the whole magic dimension.

- The reason why their hair is so long is because longer hair signifies status. The more complicated the hairdo, the higher the status of a troll. That troll in season one that had sleek, loose hair? Low status. 

- They really, really care about hair care for this exact reason. Just like perfumes, their hair products are sought after all across the dimension. The trolls are quite vain, really.
