𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍗 I’m just gonna skip straight to the important part and tell you all that @wingmanschicken last week was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. After clearing up at @wingfestuk every year and opening a restaurant in Kilburn, they’ve now cemented themselves in the heart of Soho in a restaurant that looks around 4x the size of their first. But this is EXACTLY what you’d expect Wingmans to move into next. Ben and Dave deserve the success more than anyone as they have proven time after time that their wings just cannot be beaten. They are the best, and I don’t think anyone can argue with that. Their wings are incredible, and nothing less. Their new Soho special Hoi Sin Buff Ting takes everything you love from aromatic duck pancakes and transforms it to chicken wings, but then there’s still classics like The Szech-One which shows you that even their more “simple looking” wings come out on top. It’s also the first time I’ve had their chicken burger, and the Seoul Sista is the real deal. People ask me how it compares to coqfighter, butchies etc, but it just doesn’t. It’s different, it’s in its own league. There’s a bunch of new Soho special sides too. Their Kiev balls are an ‘explode in your mouth’ delight, and their cornbread with bone marrow butter is just so soft and light. Their desserts can’t be missed, too. The Eton Massacre is a dessert lovers dream, big enough to share and piled with strawberries. But for me it’s their cocktails that stole the show, and definitely the reason why I want to go back so soon. Honestly I can’t remember anywhere else I’ve had cocktails as good as these. From the salted caramel espresso martini, to the alcoholic peach iced tea, and a cocktail that brings rum, pineapple and coffee all together. With a 2 for £12 offer during happy hour too, this will literally be my go to place for cocktails.
