New album 'Nocturnal' is out today!

I am extremely happy that my new album 'Nocturnal' is being released today everywhere, a work that comprises a recordings spanning the pandemic and beyond. It is a compendium of night time improvisations from 2016-2020, early morning live improvs, studio outtakes and more.

The 6 tracks cover tape loop works like 'Shift' and 'Hymn Magnetique', ambient drones like 'Hillside', and the center piece 'Nocturnal Counterpoint', a near 20-minute wormlike piece I recorded in 2016.

The April edition of Window Magic's Transmission Service is here! Freshly archived at Radio Punctum's vault in Prague, this new C60 mix is full of Psychedelic electronics, ambient explorations and lo-fi pearls… There is also an excerpt of 'Constellation Beam', a new piece I performed recently at Salon Wellenmaschine in Berlin.

another crazy year is ending, i hope you are all doing ok out there.  thank you for being there, sharing your love and laughter, tears and sorrows, beautiful creations and hope.  thank you to everyone trying to make a difference in this world, using your voice and abilities for the good cause.

hello dears

long time no see, long time no listen happy to report i am alive and well, freshly married and knee deep in work in the studio, where i am going through the archives and prepare some long overdue new releases! the first one will appear before the end of the month, as always i will tell you here first.

today also saw the release of a collaboration with nina pixel i did earlier this year,  as nina prepared the music for the theatre dance pice SEN (dream). I was happy to contribute piano and synths as well as mixing the two ambient pieces. have a listen here and give her a follow as many more people should listen to her brilliant tracks!  

there is also a new youtube channel that will be fed with things over time, as of now you will find a few live videos as well as releases and collaborations there. keep an eye out at here there's more to come.

i will release a new window magic album called 'nocturnal' on november 16.

comprised of 6 tracks, some improvised, some carefully woven together, 'nocturnal' is a set of night time recordings made between 2015-2020 in various place and settings and that i recently dug out of my tape vault. i am really proud of this one, compiling this was a joy and provided some much needed calm & magic during the last few weeks.  it's a fuzzy and warm counterworld where time melts and is irrelevant.  i hope you will enjoy this one!
