*This is really useful, according to this, Sonic wasnât âphysicllyâ tortured by Eggman. He was sent to space to âlose all hopeâ and be forced to watch the eggman empire from there. Also, the phantom rubyâs power created a rift in dimensions, the world needed to balance out Eggmanâs force by sending Classic Sonic. (Tails seems to be more the âbrains than brawnsâ in this game to me. He doesnât fight much, just informs and problem solves. He feels guilty he couldnât help Sonic.) The Snake was a guardian of the forest. Apparently, Infinite thinks friends are like illusions, you can only rely on yourself/your own power, and Sonic points out the loneliness underneath his mask... Also, that his power is the real illusion! (Ouch! Leave it to Sonic to throw a punch at an ego!) Amy mentions itâs sad he was built all alone. Sonic is considered âEveryoneâs Hopeâ and always will be. etc.
