Kane finished his mug of tea and propped his elbow on the edge of the couch. He turned his body to face his husband, “I finished working on my exhibition pieces and I have to let them all dry before I can varnish them. This gives about a week or two until I can actually varnish and work again. So, you and the kids get me all to yourselves,” he smiled before leaning forward to kiss Andrew’s cheek.

It had been months since they had first met each other and learned about their soulmate bond. While it had taken him quite a while to warm up to the idea, Tae had made a huge turn around in accepting the fact that his soulmate was another man. He had become, at least what he hoped was, a great significant other to Yixing, and he could finally say that he was proud to claim him as his other half. What he had been forgetting was the fact that his family wasn’t the most open minded, nor were they were the most accepting, a fact that was made painfully clear to him when he brought Yixing home to meet his family. The encounter was awkward and uncomfortable, with his family making rude and inconsiderate comments for the majority of their time spent there. He couldn’t help but feel bad about it, especially because it was Yixing’s first time meeting his family. “I’m sorry..” Tae murmured as they got into his car, a frown on his face. “I shouldn’t have brought you here.”

Perfect red almond nails dip into the skin of the latter’s nape as her shoulders tense in pain, her other hand firmly gripping their shoulder as she lets out a soft groan. A royalty member of the diabolical society being in such an intimate position with a vampire  —  a race that demons haven’t been getting along with for the past few centuries  —  would spark scandals that will surely reach her father. However, she wasn’t expecting this sharp pain to penetrate her neck, they were only making out in one of the dark corners of the club, she didn’t agree to have her blood sucked out. Regardless, she puts one leg over the other, a strange sense of shame taking over her once she realized her new-found fetish.  ❛  God— you don’t have to bite me like I’m some peach for fuck’s sake  ❜  She protests, pushing the latter back.

“did you see the weather outside?” percy asked, a wide grin on her face. it felt like winter was going to last forever -- the sight of the sun that morning filled her with an incredible amount of happiness. “we should do something out there today.” 

     at some point he stopped thinking of ways to be the convincing boyfriend, and found that instead his thoughts were consumed with convincing them that he’d be a good boyfriend. it wasn’t something as simple as confusion. physical affection as an act was what he did for a living and had gotten quite good at drawing the line between in character emotions and sincere feelings out of character. his feelings for them had never been clearer. it’s what brought him to their dressing room, flowers in one hand and a bag of take out in the other. he greeted every person he passed with bright smile, and quick bow; knocking a few times before excitement got the best of him and he found himself pushing the door open. “my eyes are closed i promise!” and he meant it, his lids folded over his hues and he used his sense of touch to close the door as he held up the gifts he brought to them. “pretty flowers for a flower, and some food...--- i thought you might be hungry after your broadcast.”
