Whether you can't get out of bed or don't have running water, sometimes you can't do certain things, like showering or brushing your teeth. However, that doesn't mean you should feel gross all day. Here are some tips, coming from someone who gets it - both the mental health aspect and the lack of running water aspect.

What to do if you can't shower:

First, you need supplies.

Clean clothes. They don't have to be fresh out of the dryer; they just have to be cleaner than whatever you have on now.

Wet wipes. Baby wipes also work. Just avoid Clorox or anything with cleaning chemicals. Not fun.

Dry shampoo (we discussed this in WUA 1: Hair Care (see the Masterlist pinned on my profile))

2. Second, onto the actual cleaning.

Strip off as much as you're comfortable with.

Using the wet wipes, start cleaning the more sensitive areas. Yes, those parts, but also any wounds, especially cuts and burns.

Make sure you get everywhere. You may need a ton of wipes. That's fine.

3. Dry shampoo. Dry shampoo will make your hair less oily. You apply dry shampoo by spraying some on your roots (where your hair meets your scalp). It will appear white; that's normal. Just brush your hair, if you can, and run your hands through it, tossing it around and gently, albeit thoroughly, massaging the area until the whiteness fades.

What to do if you can't brush your teeth:

It's not a long-term replacement, but use mouthwash if you can. If you have to choose between doing it in the morning or before you go to bed, do it before you go to bed. Preferably, though, you should do it when you wake up, after every meal, and before you go to bed.

This account is the unofficial account of the Razzi subreddit on, yes, Reddit. We have a subreddit, a Discord server, an Instagram account, and a website; I thought we could also use a Tumblr because why not.

What can you expect from us?

Well, I, Will, will (teehee) most likely be posting my 'Will's Unwarranted Advice'* column. I may reblog a few things here and there, but I'm trying to refrain from making this my personal account (I did technically create it, but this is now the official unofficial Razzi Tumblr page).
