I think they should've made Bella a genuine siren. I feel like the pieces are all there: she's a singer, everyone comments on how popular she is with boys, and she's into Will at least partially because he's not all over her like most guys. What if it was because he was somehow immune to her siren powers? What if it tied into the plot somehow?

So you know how in season 2 Julia's actress is Taryn Marler, aka Sophie? I thought it would be a cool headcanon to have that Julia is Sophie and Will's grandmother, the way Gracie was Charlotte's. There isn't too much to support it given that all three have blonde hair (I'm pretty sure it's implied Sophie dyes her hair red), but regardless, I like it so it's canon to me
if will had become a merman, do you think he would just get all 3 powers like charlotte or would he get something else? i always wondered about what other options there might be after they introduced bella’s…
hmmm i don’t know. it seems that powers align with personality. charlotte having all 3 could have something to do with her grandmother being a mermaid, perhaps the moonpool recognized her dna and gifted her all three because of that. or maybe it was because charlotte was an anomaly that was never meant to happen. anyways will’s personality is synonymous to cardboard to me, personally. i could see him have cleo’s ability, since he is a diver. it would make more sense for him to ‘make the water work for him’ compared to changing the physical state of the water.

could he act? no. but was his character good? also no. and were his plot lines compelling? not really. but did he look good? also no. but did i enjoy his time on the show? again, no. but would i watch more of his character? also no
