sooooo fucking weird!!! they did one imitating angus as lewis and cariba as rikki also iirc, like why use ai when you can hire the og talent as voice actors OR hire new voice actors to do impressions of the characters/what they might sound like a few years post-canon!!! the mind boggles truly

ever since i saw the yt account post something along the lines of “what would the h2o characters be up to now?” when they were hinting towards new stuff coming i’ve been afraid they’re gonna make some ai video. i didn’t even want to accidentally speak it into existence. but yeah really disappointing esp if shiff is permitting this.

watching 1x20 'hook, line and sinker' when zane and rikki are only just starting to warm to each other, and am back on my 'rikki and zane know each other better than anyone else' bullshit. even then zane knows rikki well enough to know that he can get her to come to his hotel room by saying that doing so will piss off his dad. also rikki tells zane to think of a speedboat or a car to get him to calm down after he starts panicking since he's afraid of heights, which works almost immediately. that's soulmateism

"pretend… i'm something you admire." except he doesn't actually have to pretend. then they double down on this admiration with "she WAS one of the girls at the seminar only SMARTER!" who else at this point has really admired rikki's intellect? zane doesn't just acknowledge this intellect, he defends it TO HIS DAD (whose respect had previously been what zane wanted above all else)!

she said 'pretend i'm something you admire, something that makes you happy' but he wasn't pretending!!!!!! plus rikki being kind to him and reminding him he doesn't have to be rude and obnoxious all the time is the thing that finally gives him the courage to stand up to his dad 😭 not to mention the clewis of it all like 1x20 'hook, line and sinker' you will ALWAYS be famous

s3 has a few banger episode titles and then some that are just absolute flops. valentine's day? beach party? lame. boring. accurate, yes, but totally unoriginal. they really shine with the ominous titles this season though. the awakening? well omg what's awakening tell me more! the dark side? like of the moon? love the moon! a magnetic attraction? yes what's up with the magnetism i'm on the edge of my seat. a date with destiny? well that sounds like an ep you just can't miss!

one thing that I wish could be true is for the girls eventually be able to control their transformation in mermaids. because sometimes it takes different times for them to turn into mermaids, and it makes me wonder if theyll ever have control over it

Cleo and Rikki from H2O should've kissed in Zane's boat
