✎ When choosing a name for your muse, did you pick something special or meaningful in some way?

Oh yes! When choosing a name, I think of the whole character, their virtues and their vices. I think about what the name means and what it symbolises. 

Taking Beth for example.Names are considered very special in Hawai’i. They were traditionally considered a person’s very first possession. They were often poetic in choosing as well, with hidden meanings or well-wishes in them.

Her mother wanted her to be named Alohaekaunei Pouli’waiola {Love Alighting Here, The Dark Waters of Life}. Her father didn’t want his child to be named something weird.

He insisted on naming her after his maternal and paternal grandmothers, Elizabeth {O’Shaughnessy} and Irene {Riley}.Her mother agreed sweetly and then made certain to use the Hawai’ian cognates of the name, Elikapeka {Elizabeth} and Ailine {Irene}.

Elizabeth means “My God is an Oath” or alternatively “I am pledged to God.”  and Irene means “Peace”.

Delilah were so bored, nothing to do in that castle except reading and play her violin, worst part, was that she find out that she needed to get married to keep her legacy.

Not that she mind with keeping the legacy, what she hate is finding a man good enough for her.

Still what else she could do? She need to choose, she won’t stay young forever, since she lost her immortality. She manage to prepare a party with a lot of people in town along with her suitors, she simply stays in her throne, normally she were suppose to have her first dance with one of her suitors but no one dared to steep ahead.

“This ball is the worst” she said to herself as she watches around, unaware that someone might do the first move.

Jinora typically didn’t have a lot of one-on-one time with her Uncle Bumi, but today was an exception. Before she knew it, she found herself being chased by him, though she knew not the purpose of his chasing.
