no kidding, his head THROBS. slowly, leonard opens his eyes, registering the man hovering above him. he sighs aggressively. typical, that he’s the one who gets jettisoned off somewhere alone with some strange man ( ?? alien species? he isn’t sure ). “yeah, yeah,” he grumbles, sitting up, rubbing a hand over his forehead. “who the HELL are you? where am i?” he acts as if it’s almost as if he’s done this before… spoiler alert: he has. 

                            ❛      i   think ,      ❜      she   says ,      lips   pursed   slightly ,      eyes   filled   with   the   strength   and   heart   of   a   woman   abandoned ,      ❛      that   i   shall   not   listen   to   reason .      ❜      and   there   it   is ,      that   glimmer   of   hope     ;     something   she   lived   and   breathed   in   her   girlhood ,      but   not   any   longer .

BAZE!! You angel!! You’re incredibly kind and honestly, every compliment you give should be returned tenfold. You’re always so thoughtful with both your characters and your partners, you’re incredibly creative and talented and just an all-around amazing person!! to  try  and  put  some  weight  to  her  words,   she  presses  her  weight  against  the  door  and  then  checks  the  hinges  for  weak  spots.   looking  back  to  the  Doctor,   she  smiles  sweetly  and  clears  her  throat.   “ahem,   is  your  screwdriver,   erm…   practical,   by  any  chance?”   she  didn’t  mean  this  as  meanly  as  it  sounded.   she  just  meant,   could  it  undo  a  screw.   he  called  it  a  ‘screwdriver’  but  it  had  never  really  looked  like  much  of  one  to  her.   she  taps  at  the  screws  with  her  fingernail.   “we  could  unlock  it  from  the  other  end.”

“Are you alright?”

“Repeat it to me again? I got lost at the second bit.”

                  The  male's  voice  cut  her  pacing  short,  stopping  her  restless  movements  in  order  to  answer.   ❝   You?  Yes.  ❞    Ellie  responded  without  a  second  thought,  there  was  no  debating  whether  or  not  she  trusted  the  doctor.   ❝   I  don't  trust  that..  THING  ❞    She  concluded,  pointing  her  switchblade  at  the  blue  box  that  read  POLICE  BOX  in  whiter  lettering.
