The Eternal Ruins are an endless ruin that continues forever in all directions, both horizontally and vertically. The structure is labyrinthine and easy to get lost in, with winding passageways and dead-ends. It is not a flat maze. Some areas of the ruins have notable traits, such being particularly damaged, dark, windy or flooded.
In more open areas, sunlight can make its way down from the structures above. No sky can be seen however, and any attempts to âreach the topâ always seem to be greeted by more ruins.
The Eternal Ruins are endless and make up the entire setting. Perhaps there are other places, but Iâll only be covering what takes place in the ruins themselves.
This is an art/worldbuilding project that's getting a TTRPG from the makers of The Wildsea, which I luuuuurve. Very curious to see more!

Wild Words (Part 1, unknown if there will be a part 2)
I started keeping track of words I learned/relearned each day because it was a shame that I had such a nice monarch butterfly journal going unused. Logically this should have been posted after a week, but it's 9 days. I don't know if I'll continue transcribing them for the internet. Tory- a conservative political party in UK (heard of them previously, but I honestly thought it was a kind of generic Brit insult until this week)
prorogation- end of parliament session (like of the year, not of the day; seems similar to Congress's recess)
toe kick- that part under the sink/cabinets in the kitchen that is sort of part of the floor but also parallel with the wall/part of the wall
