❤︎⁠ if you've got limited spoons they understand completely. they're happy to take the lead for the day, handling the more difficult jobs to let you take a break.

❤︎⁠ they know your limits well, but when new symptoms pop up they don't panic. they're calm and soothing, a constant source of stability for you when things get hectic.

if you're struggling they'll always be willing to lend a hand in any way possible, they just want to make things easier for you. you're never a burden, they love you!!

where's the love for irritable f/o's? f/o's that mutter under their breath in frustration, f/o's that grumble and gripe over every little thing, f/o's that insist they're being realistic when everyone else is dramatic.

they might seem cold but they're the softest once you crack them open; they're desperate for a little affection and care deep down. they'll still insist they don't, of course, but just kiss their cheek and they'll melt against you.

aloof f/o who can't keep their hands off of you once you get home. they swear they're not doing it on purpose, huffing out excuses as their hand lingers on your hip, their thigh pressed against yours as you cook dinner. they insist they don't like skinship but it's hard to believe them when they're playing absentmindedly with your hair while you lay together. they just can't keep their hands to themselves!!

don't cry!! think about laying down with your head on your f/o's lap, their fingers stroking your hair. they're trying their hardest to be gentle, slowly running their fingers along your hairline.

if they're usually warm and bubbly then they might be cooing over you with a soft smile, trying to make you laugh, tapping you on the nose with an infectious grin.

if they're usually quiet and calm then they take a softer approach, humming as they run their fingers over your temples, massaging your scalp and trying to soothe you.

either way they're tender with you, trying their best to keep you grounded and comfortable because they love you 🩷

caregiver f/o who doesn't care how old you are, you're going to hold their hand when crossing the road. you're too little to do it by yourself!!

caregiver f/o who cuts your food up into little pieces and grins when you huff and insist you can feed yourself. fine, you can try if you like, but it always ends up with them playing "here comes the aeroplane".

caregiver f/o who loves it when you tug on their shirt when they're sitting at their desk. you want to sit on their lap? of course!! they pick you up instantly, cradling you in their arms and pressing their lips to your forehead as they work.

caregiver f/o who can't resist your pleas for another story, chuckling as they reach for another book and lean over your bed, letting you see the pictures. maybe they'll even do voices for the characters if you promise this is the last story before bedtime.

caregiver f/o who kisses you goodnight, stroking your forehead and promising you that they'll keep the monsters away. they're always there if you need you, don't worry about waking them up.

robot f/o who needs repairing. they sit there quietly as you gently open up one of their access panels, systems humming at the feeling of you being so close.

maybe they're unsure how to fix themselves, watching you fuss over blueprints and manuals beside them, or maybe they know exactly what to do and just need another pair of hands. either way they're calm as you fiddle with their cables and circuits, trusting you to take care of them.

there's something so comforting about a protective f/o who knows you're theirs.

they would never cage you and of course they want you to be your own person, but you're not to be messed with when they're around. they would never let people push you around or waste your time, they would never let you be bothered when you want to be left alone. they're always a silent presence by your side, making sure you're comfortable and safe.

sibling f/o who's way too easy to rile up. lock them out of their phone and they're throwing a pillow at your head. they're always huffing and pouting at you, poking you when you're comfortable on the couch and laughing at you when you fall over.

but if anyone else insults you? well that just won't do. you might be ugly and annoying but you're their ugly and annoying sibling. they have your back no matter how much you might have argued earlier, always in your corner no matter what.
