Ayyy so me and a buddy are going as yellow diamond and blue diamond and guess who gets to make that hair. I was wondering what color you guys got i was gonna go with just yellow from arda but i wanted a tip from someone who has already walked into hell with sunglasses on.
I actually dyed the wefts myself! You can see the process here. (it looks pretty orangey in those pics though)
I used iDye Poly yellow on 2 packs of Arda’s long white wefts (we only ended up using one) and let it dye for 5 minutes in boiling water.
But lucky for you you can skip that process because Arda’s yellow is literally exactly the same as the result I got! (I compared using my Arda color sample ring, so this is a guarantee)

How did you get the wig hair to adhere so tightly and cleanly to the base for Yellow Diamond? (which is breathtaking btw, i love the hair grain detail that was added)

That’s a question for danekez, but from what I saw, he laid down some tacky glue, placed the loose hair, waited for the glue to dry while holding it down in place with his fingers, and then tacky sprayed it!
How do you attach a wig like the undyne wig to your head?
I hellla pinned my wig-cap to my head and then used the ponytail clip to grip through the wig into my wig cap to support the position of the wig and ponytail. Danekez then hellla bobby pinned the front of my wig to my wig cap, it didn’t slip back all day!
How did you make yellow diamonds hair?? It's so perfect!!
Danekez made it first of all!
I patterned the shape and built it out of craft foam, connecting the edges with barge contact cement, and then handed it over to Dann.
He smoothed out the seams with the edge of a hot glue gun, covered the entire thing in yellow felt and then proceeded to meticulously glue on loose wig hair (which I dyed) with tacky glue for two nights in a row while marathoning BBC shows.
