“Dude...I hate to be the one to break it to you but...” Virgil squints, hand vaguely gesturing at the other man. “Yeah, you’re like...definitely haunted. Okay, well, maybe not singularly haunted, but these ghosts definitely have taken a liking to you...” Virgil isn’t exactly expecting the other to believe his claims, not everyone was willing to believe such things or acknowledge his so-called gift but who knows? Maybe this guy was being seriously haunted and the confirmation might be good for him.

     ‘So ...’  Kyle began, unceremoniously nudging the bleeding, unconscious stranger with his boot so that he could roll him over.  He wanted to get a good look at his face.  ‘What’d this poor bastard do to get on ya bad side, ey?  I’m guessin’ he ain’t just some random rorter.  N’ this shit--’ Kyle nudged the man again, this time prodding a conspicuous tattoo on his upper arm, ‘--is a fuckin’ gang tat.  You fuckin’ with the mafia again?’      The man in question had tried and failed to break-and-enter into Koenraad’s home, interrupting their casual evening of beer, pot, and comedic porn.      ‘I bloody swear, every time I come visit there’s some new, random cunt out for ya head.  It’s sketchy as fuck, Kozza.  Y’know that?’  There was a hint of well-meaning humour in Kyle’s tone, but it was by no means untrue.  ‘Ya shady bastard.’

“Hope you don’t mind the intrusion but i thought I’d come see you.” 

So- I got a favor to ask ya. Can I borrow some money?

“Oh relax, it's not that bad. besides,” she smirked and winked at him “you look good with a messy hair look”
