“I’m fluent in morbidity. Like Persephone, I can seem to be the goddess of the seasons but also the queen of the Underworld,” Emma chimed, laughing a bit as Helma continued. “Théo is incredibly biased, my charm has little to do with actual facts. But, thank you nonetheless.”

“I didn’t keep any of the ball gowns,” Leading the way upstairs, Emma stepped into the guest bedroom and opened the closet up, one side of it nothing more than gown bags. “These are mostly ones I made myself when I was young, and have more… Personal meaning than the ornate gowns I wore when under the care of empires. But yes, the others are in cases in the palace.”

“Persephone was the goddess of the underworld, springtime, flowers and vegetation.” Helma noted with a nod to herself, she stated it aloud for mostly herself. “Her husband was the most devout from my understanding.”
