I have a LOT of short scenes and chapters from back when I was in denial about liking whump
Every single time, I was like "well I have this vague idea for characters and a world, but it's very important that I start in the middle. With the torture scene."
And then after said scene and maybe a little comfort was over, I'd just lose all interest in that project
Once I discovered the whump community, everything just kinda clicked. Now I'm just curious if anyone else had a similar experience
#maybe i should dig up some of my old stuff and post it#but back then i was shy about liking whump so everything is painfully vague and you can practically FEEL my caution#it IS definitely a dream of mine to publish a novel or two#aside from whump my favorite projects are screenplays for cartoons#wide gap#I'd love to write an incredibly whumpy novel that has enough plot to sell though 👀👀#my main problem is my lack of motivation to complete anything#whump meta#writing meta#whumblr#whump community
