Just magical.✨

Here are some photos from daytime as well, after I slept (I was up from 2 to 6am to sculpt even as the snow started melting in the night xD).

(The old scratching board was so I could sit beside her and not get wet. I didn't consciously give her something to scratch on 🤣)

I also have some of when she melted away, becoming smaller and smaller for every day that passed. xD

Hattori who had been sitting quietly until now burst up "He wouldn't want ya to sacrifice ya own life to save his! Don't do somethin' so foolish!"

Kaito's face changed into a determined frown "I have to, he deserves to live more than me. He sacrificed himself to save my life and got shot" he cried "The guilt is killing me! He has so much to give" the magician hugged the book tighter "I just screw around and do magic, he chased criminals and put them to justice!" He opened up the book and went through the pages in single minded determination.

Alarmed Hakuba tried to placate him "Kuroba, put the book down" he said slowly like he didn't want to scare a skittish animal. When he didn't get anything more than silence from the magician he reached out and tried to pry the book out of his hands "Kuroba!" He shouted in alarm.

The magician used his skills and backflipped off the couch with the book still in hand. Hattori vaulted over the back of his chair and ran towards the magician who dodged out of his reach.

Kaito released a few smoke bombs clouding the room in pink, when the cloud settled Hakuba and Hattori was both stuck together with handkerchiefs. "I have to do this, for Shinichi" he said.

"Kuroba! Stop!" Hakuba shouted.

Kaito put up a hand like he was casting a spell and started mumbling in an unfamiliar language "Atros sulai chortam dorul qatar!" He shouted out. 

"Kuroba what have ya done!" Hattori screamed.

Kaito sighed "Now Shinichi can live on in my stead" he said softly and closed his eyes.

"What.the.hell happened while I was on the toilet" Shinichi said as he went through the door. "It sounded like someone died in here" He looked to the two detectives tied together on the floor and back to his boyfriend standing defeated in the corner of the room.

Kaito opened his eyes and was immediately in the detective's personal space "Shinichi! You live!" He shouted happily.

Shinichi looked very bemused "What are you talking about, I was on the toilet for 5 min and suddenly the whole room is a mess"

Hakuba cleared his throat "Kaito just performed a resurrection spell and used his own life to save yours" he explained.

Shinichi sighed heavily "Kaito what the hell, I didn't even know this board game had a resurrection spell" he said while rubbing his temples "of course you would know about it" he sighed "Why did I agree to play this in the first place" he asked no one in particular.

"Because the power went out in the middle of our movie and we had nothing else planned" kaito said helpfully.

Shinichi sighed once again "I understand that, but why did you resurrect me when I don't even know how to play this stupid game" he deadpanned "Your efforts are wasted"

Kaito grinned "Because I love you" he said and gave Shinichi a peck on the lips. Shinichi turned bright red.

Hattori and Hakuba gagged on the floor "ew, so lovey dovey" the Osakan muttered.

Kaito gestured to the two other detectives with a thumb "And besides, this way I can be your guardian angel and help you win over these two idiots" he said gesturing to the two on the floor.

They growled in response "let us go and we will show you how to win this!" They shouted in unison. Finally something the two could agree on.

In the end, Shinichi and by extension Kaito won the game. The power didn't come back until midnight.
