Watched the Brilliant Minds finale and fuck I'm going to miss this show so much 😭
But I'm going to focus on what I loved. Because while I'm sad about never getting the story lines/character arcs that were being set up, it was still an absolutely banger episode that had me doing this the whole time
-The plot of Wolf treating Josh's dad. I think it really highlighted Wolf's empathy and what makes him such a great doctor. It gave some fun callbacks to previous episodes and lots of chances for Josh to look at Wolf with the biggest heart eyes
-Number One Wolf/Nichols shipper Nico's only concern being what this means for the Wichols "will they, won't they saga" and spilling the tea about Beau's proposal to Josh
-the whole scene of Dana finding out her rebound one night stand is Wolf's sister. Dana's "oh fuck" look, Erika dropping the files she's holding, Charlie and Nico's shared "omg girl" look, Charlie's adorable "God I love this job". Oh baby queers of Bronx General (and your token straight), I think I will miss you most of all
-Dana and Van helping Erika get the courage to talk to her probable birth mother. And being there for her when it doesn't go the way she wanted (it was also nice to see Van one last time)
-The baseball scene. Just all of it, but particularly the Charlie/Nico flirting and Josh finally getting recognition/support from his dad
And of course the big one - MY DADS ARE BACK TOGETHER (and fucking all over that hospital; the hyperbaric chamber one took me OUT)

Please sedate me I can't take Zachery Quinto kissing a man on the top of his head so softly like he might break and guess what that guy didn't break but I did

What hosts are willing to apologize furst after an argument?
Haruhi
HA! YOU THINK BUT NO! She is so so stubborn! so stubborn! depending on the argument she will hold her ground if she thinks she’s right. the longer it goes on she does mull it over but if she decides she was in the right then she wont budge. if its a dumb thing then yeah. shes sorry but a big argument can last a week or more depending on your own resolve.
Tamaki
“I wont speak to you until you can admit that you were wrong!” sound familiar? contrary to popular belief (he would try to keep the peace) i want to say no. he wont apologize first! unless some new information comes to light that makes sense for your reasoning. but he can be a stubborn dick at times guys! i can see him apologizing first if your reasoning has things like, past trauma he didn't know about of a fear he didn't know about. but if you’re just fighting boy stands his ground.
Kyoya
Not him. if he does its kinda. . .not an apology. This is probably the main strain on your relationship is his pride especially if you are also prideful. however if he dose apologize to you. like full on actually says hes sorry your heart probably breaks by the sad tone of his voice. hug him because emotions are hard and not accepting it makes you feel like a dick.
Hikaru
getting him to apologies at all is a feat so no. he only apologizes if someone knocks some sense into him (younger years) or if he calms down enough to take a step back and go. . .yeah. . . i was a dick (older years)
Kaoru
he apologizes 90% of the time. he just wants to move on with life. he take the emotional maturity route. UNLESS, he’s so sure he’s right and he holds his ground and his stubborn nature comes out. its rare but if you guys fight like that then it’s a fight! remember he finally got pissed enough at his brother to fight with him he’d do that to you to if you push the right buttons.
Honey
yeah. he will apologize. like Kaoru he can happily move on with his life and wont dwell on it. like Mori he apologizes for his half of the argument without admitting if your right or wrong. UNLIKE the other two he can and will refuse to if you piss him off enough. like putting yourself in harms way. “i’m not ready to forgive you yet. you need to earn that. but we can move forward.”
Mori
moving on from petty fights he will confront you first after stepping away. apologize strategically without admitting your right or wrong. he just apologizes for his end of the argument. i can see him telling someone to go to hell so polity they look forward to the trip and thank him for the directions.he’s not that petty but he can.
💗 I want to know what each of the them believes their best features are!
Thank you for your question ♥
In a very neat sense, Jugend, Kanin and Alte fill the roles of logos, ethos and pathos respectively in their relationship, and it makes for a very well-balanced dynamic. They admire in the others what they believe they lack, and look to each other as a guide for how they can improve their own features.
Jugend believes his charisma is his best feature, and believes that other people think it’s his best feature too. Whilst drawing the attention of everyone in the room comes easily to him, he also spends a lot of effort cultivating the perfect outward appearance to achieve his goals and reinforce his natural charm.
Kanin admires Jugend’s determination and perseverance. From his perspective, Jugend has clear goals, and sets in place the means to achieve them; there’s very little that stands in Jugend’s way for very long.
Alte admires Jugend’s strategical approach, and how clearly he perceives the future. Things come easily to Jugend not through luck, but because he sets himself up to succeed.
Kanin believes his best feature is reliability. He takes his responsibilities and duties very seriously, and wants to ensure those who rely on him are not let down by his actions or inaction. He holds himself to very high standards, and strives to meet them consistently.
Alte admires Kanin’s loyalty and ability to trust so completely. He thinks Kanin’s strongest asset is his steadfast foundation, which is built on years of service and fidelity. He strives to emulate the same fortitude in his own life.
Jugend admires Kanin’s commitment. As opposed to strict loyalty, Kanin shows a dedication to invest himself wholly in all things that matter to him, especially his relationships. His selflessness is an inspiration to Jugend, who is striving to be more considerate of others.
Alte believes his best feature is his flexibility, and his “go with the flow” approach. Because his life has lacked consistency and at times stability, Alte has adapted to be very reactive to whatever situations he finds himself in. It’s helped him manage his lifestyle, but he does appreciate the reliability of working under Jugend.
Jugend admires Alte’s openness, particularly how trustworthy he is and how quickly he trusts others. Whilst he knows it doesn’t come from a place of naivety, Jugend does somewhat envy Alte’s ability to connect so readily with people by letting his walls down (at least initially).
Kanin admires Alte’s empathy, especially when it comes to his brothers. He’s fiercely protective of those he cares about, even when he disagrees with them, and Kanin knows he can trust Alte to take care of Jugend where he’s unable to. It brings Kanin a great sense of relief and gratitude to know how easily Alte saw Jugend for who he truly is, and not the front he puts up for everyone else to see.
