Wholeshare is shaking up the retail grocery landscape and we're looking for dedicated individuals who want to help build the local and sustainable food economy in their community. We provide an online shopping tool that connects consumers directly with wholesale distributors and producers of local, organic and sustainable food.
We help you gain access to good, affordable food by buying as a group. Group buying allows you, your friends and neighbors to pool your purchasing power so you can buy straight from the source. Kind of like a co-op, but without the expense of a storefront. Shopping this way not only saves you money but it ensures that more of your dollars go directly to the farmers and artisans who work hard to raise, grow and produce superior food.
Here's how it works: Sign up with Wholeshare, invite your friends and begin shopping for food on the site. Once your group reaches the order minimum, we forward your order to the farmers and distributors and they deliver the order to your home, community center or place of business. Then everyone in your group can pick up his or her share of the order. Each person is charged for only their share.
