You are not gonna give me a psychology lesson! You are not gonna tell me who I can vote for and who I can’t vote for!”

LITERALLY the insult, the true insult of this interaction according to The Michael’s Lady, is a black store employee asserting her humanity. FOR A BLACK WOMAN TO SAY “WE’RE ALL HUMAN” IS LITERALLY AN ACT OF AGGRESSION. 

and it is in NO way surprising that she would consider that an attack. it is spellbindingly horrifying and gross, but it is in NO way a suggestion that this white woman is “crazy.” 

Her behavior is actually a VERY RATIONAL OUTGROWTH of “all lives matter,” of the conviction that Beyonce’s performance at the Superbowl was “too political” or the question “why do you have to bring race into it?” Existence is a threat. Shared humanity is a threat. The truthful expression of personal experience is a threat. It’s all the same; it’s just shades on the spectrum of a white supremacist culture. The assertion of humanity by non-white people is an affront to white entitlement and that’s why this woman is having a fucking meltdown in a craft store and accusing a baby of shoplifting.
