WhimsiKid is my new favorite term for everything neon and bright and nostalgic, kids stuff that u would like to wear if it came in your size, gaudy colorful loud toys, etc!
Like those graphic kids shirts from the 2000s. Or the light-up velcro twinkle toes. Whimsical and Kiddish !! It is definitely an agere-centric aesthetic. I feel it pulls a lot from things that are both for kids (the clothes, colors, toys, etc) and also for adults (monster energy, smoking/vaping, loud music). Also maybe saying bad words or being a ""difficult"" kid. Being the kid you weren't allowed to be etc
Basically, I see it as a chance to re-do childhood exactly the way you want, with as much whimsy as possible, with as bright of colors and as loud of toys !! 2000s-2010s nostalgia fits it best i feel but go crazy with whatever YOU like
(Oh also clothes and things for adults r okay!! As long as they fit the same vibe and whimsy of kids clothes!)

neon Zombie Apocalypse / Survival Gear Agere Tween Boy outfit (based on Spike from 28 Years Later!)
Watched 28 Years Later. Sooo colorful!!! Such pretty scenery!!! Very neon!!! I very much recommend if you're a regressor who likes horror and zombies like me. It isnt too too scary (imo) and the ending isn't sad or anything (also imo)!! It's actually rlly sweet :]
Tws for this movie: naked zombies, gore, tension, childbirth, language, etc. Also eyestrain as it's very saturated!
