okay yeah no. Firstly, mujra is a style of dance that originated during Mughal rule (so of Muslim origin, which Kate isn't as far as we know) and more importantly, Mujra is something courtesans performed back in the day, not wives.

@jeanvanjer mentioned women traditionally weren't (still aren't in some cases lol) supposed to smile on their wedding day because it's meant to be an auspicious occasion and you're supposed to look demure and feel sad you're leaving your father's house forever, or whatever. If a woman wasn't allowed to smile for fear of being seen as too bold, you really think she's about to dance for a man??

Heck, my own grandmother wasn't allowed to learn bharatanatyam, Indian classical dance, because it would be seen as "improper", and was made to learn singing instead. If this was the attitude of certain classes of people in the 40s and 50s, again, would a woman be expected to dance for her husband? Hell no.

(Fun fact, my grandma did sing for my grandfather the first time they met at the command of her future mother-in-law, all while not making eye-contact, looking down, and remaining appropriately demure LOL).
