the fact that he's green isn't the point, the point is What Is The Purpose Of Making Him Green. why does he need to be differentiated. if it's because he's a secret boss then why don't the shadowguy and zapper get the same treatment. is there an actual lore reason that toby thought about for why he has to stand out. don't fucking say 'oh it's just a game theory reference' to me i am being insane right now. ramb has an entirely different design from other plugboys because he's relevant to the secret boss of chapter 3. hell, the pippins whose only purposes are to sell an s-rank and be a lock on the susiezilla minigame has shades so you know it's important to talk to them. why the fuck is the mike pippins who only appears for a single cutscene green and why are his colleagues normal.

every time i replay vs void i always just end up realizing i've never written a single in-character void dialogue in my life and i'll never draw void as full of life as in the original. do i even deserve to be a void fan
