My body learned to hold stresses in the same way your body always has. Knots on top of knots building between your shoulder blades until the tension in your muscles paralyzed the nerves that fed them.
Does your DNA dictate how your brain reacts to its pain and to its fear? Down to the very directive it gives to which muscles constrict at which emotion? Or did I study all your body patterns so acutely, so minutely, that I could do nothing else but mimic them?
