Mission Statement
The purpose of this blog is to use group motivation to be healthier. The target group here is our high school graduation class. Some of us have lost touch with one another and this blog will also double as a way to reunite dwindled friendships, or provide you Facebook stalkers a different kind of fix. It's been nearly 6 years since we graduated. In that time I've gained 45 pounds. Some of it was muscle at one point, but most of it has now turned to unwanted fat. I'd like to use this blog to help keep me motivated on my way back to my high school weight of 175 lbs. I've done my fair share of setting fitness goals to eventually see them unmet. I hope to tap in to this graduating class as a source of workout routines and healthy eating habits. I've seen some of you do extraordinary things over the years in fitness and would like to join you. I know some of you have attended school in hopes of pursuing a healthier lifestyle for others and hope you could provide us some wisdom as we set forth on this fun and challenging adventure. I'll be posting progress pictures, workouts, recipes, and fun motivational things on this blog. PLEASE feel free to submit anything you'd like that has to do with fitness. I'd love to see those of us who are more experienced in healthy living lending hands to those of us who have drifted from that path or maybe trying to find the starting line. -Cory Nelson High School Profile: Ginger who played baseball.
