Daisy is 18 years old and grew up in the coastal town of Brindleton Bay. Her childhood consisted of frequent smiles and laughter, surrounded by love from her parents. Daisy's mother stayed at home to raise her and was frequently creating delights in the kitchen. The sound of the mixer, along with the smell of cupcakes and cookies baking in the oven, brought Daisy a sense of happiness and peace. Although her mother never opened a bakery of her own, her talent was extraordinary, and of course, was passed on to her daughter. This past year, Daisy lost her parents in a tragic accident. Though the grief has struck her heavily, her parents left behind some funds and their beautiful seaside cottage. Daisy hopes to carry on her mother's dream of opening her own bakery someday, and have a family of her own that finds the simple joys her parents brought to her as a child.

After the guests left Alonso gave a toast to his wife and to all they had both achieved. From travelling and their adventures, to reaching the top of their careers, and to raising their daughter Bessie.
