So, about a month ago I posted my outline of what hypothetical Murder Drones sequel movie could look like. At the time I had not intention of doing anything with it beyond that, but after several people encourage me to try my hand at adaptating it into a full fic, not to mention how much I enjoyed writing my first ever Murder Drones fanfic (which you can find here) and the overwhelming positive reception that one-shot received, I seem to have gotten the motivation to, well, turn that outline into a proper longfic.
But before I do that, I need some help. Firstly I want to write a couple more Murder Drones one-shots (particularly more Nuzi stuff, because they have invaded my brain) to get some more practice writing this universe and these characters before I tackle a more ambitious longfic. With that in mind, if anyone has ideas/suggestions for one-shots I'd love to hear them. I can't promise I'll do every suggestion I get, but I'd love to at least tackle a few ideas people would like to see me write.
The second, possibly more important thing I need help with is with something to do turning the outline into a proper fanfiction. See, in it I mentioned I wanted to have some sort of throw-away reference to and off-screen "Cyn prank" in a similar vein to the zombie prank from Fight Til' I'm Good Enough... and I need ideas. The more unhinged and "wait? WTF does that even mean" the better, since for the gag to work it needs to be something absolutely insane sounding that is never explained or elaborated on. So give me your most insane ideas, I need them!
But yeah, I am super excited to write more Murder Drones stuff in the near future, for the brainworms cannot be denied!
So I may have lied about writing a Murder Drones one-shot after a shipping week for another fandom is done... because I may have already finished it. So yeah, expect that in a couple of days since I still gotta send it off to my beta readers (and give it another editing pass or two myself) first.
