This is a pretty cool comic style series they have!
As for my AU... this isn't set Post Canon anything. It's a What If style AU that basically asks what if the McGees made their forever home in Gravesfield, Connecticut instead of Brighton. It essentially follows a very realistic but still cartoonish story in that Luz and Molly become friends. Molly is aged up one year in this fic so she and Luz can be in the same school and grade with each other, but really that's the only character change.
Luz finally makes a best friend forever and Molly makes a forever home. There's no big relations or connections to either's ongoing plots, and there really shouldn't be. And it's not a ship fic either! In the end, it's about two gals being pals. I wanted to explore a story that delved into the idea that Luz herself isn't entirely a wacky or weird kid, she just hasn't had a good friend with a positive influence on her in the Human Realm.
Also, i have no idea if this fic idea has been before, but even if it has: I'm still doing it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm down to talk about it more, so don't hesitate to ask, but I will admit it is still heavily in production! ( ^‿^)
