i actually think the selfishness of both langdon & santos is soooooo interesting. you put the two worst characters isn he worst situation woah
like santos blaming langdon stealing meds and his addiction for the way she’s apparently been treated at work. wanting to see him humilated and face consequences that offer no empathy.
and then langdon focusing his apology on absolving one step in his process and just trying to make the tension go away. talking about how difficult it’s been for him in a moment that’s not meant to be about him.
