Karma 2022 GS-6 EV āMr.305 Editionā
This particular premium four-wheeler, which will go under the gavel at Barrett-Jacksonās Scottsdale auction this Saturday, features a number of āpersonal touchesā.
The Car was custom built for Mr. 305 himself. Itās even been christened the 305 Edition in reference to the singerās nickname and the Miami area code from which he hails.
You can expect special badging and door sills inscribed with āMr. 305,ā along with two motivational quotes on the dash. One reads āThe biggest risk you take is not taking one,ā while the other says āPatience passion and perseverance equals success.ā
Pitbullās touches aside, the GS-6Ā is one impressive sedan. Under the hood, itās equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder DOHC turbocharged engine developed for the BMW i8 and two motors powered by a 28 kW lithium-ion battery pack. Together, that gives the 5,000-pound plug-in a gutsy 536 horses and 550 ft lbs of torque, as well as a range of 360 miles. It can also fully charge in just 36 minutes, according to the automaker.
The best part is that all proceeds from this sale will go toward the Selfless Love Foundation and the SLAM Foundation. Selfless Love is a non-profit working to improve the child welfare system, while SLAM aims to improve education in underserved communities.

Watching this documentary short (taken from a longer documentary) about poor kids in Ohio during lockdown. This woman, with three kids, has been told by her doctors that she canāt work due to kidney disease. The state agrees enough to give her *some* benefits, butā¦she has to volunteer 80 hours a month to receive said benefits. If sheās too sick to work, then sheās too sick to volunteer 20 hours a week. I remember at the end of my āworking lifeā, I finally realized it was time to turn in my papers when I couldnāt manage 18 hours a week. Ohio, wtf is this nonsense?! And in this documentary, itās during the pandemic. The 13 year old subject of the film says how worried he is about his mom having to be out there volunteering because sheās so likely to catch Covid. I have to imagine a strong case of Covid could do damage to her already vulnerable kidneys. What utter bullshit our whole system is!
Here is the full documentary, an hour long, which I guess Iām gonna watch now so I can get even angrier at our system!

Gawd. I'm really using the welfare state to my advantage atm. I am having physical therapy at two different places suddenly. One for my knee issue and today I started a different place for severe pain in my neck. ( my neck has been hurting and getting worse for 2 weeks now) All this at the same time being pregnant, and going to receive a lot of professionel care for that aswell. I'll only have to pay a small amount for physical therapy at the new place, like 15-30 $ per session.
Do you guys remember
Those rumours I heard going around, about IUI being made free of charge in Denmark? Well, turns out they were true. It hit the news today!! ššš Going to call my doctor soon, to get a referal.

Maybe we're having male factor aswell?
Yesterday, I was looking through my files from when we were ttc little R. It said "female infertility with male factor"??? and that our IVF actually was an ICSI??? They never told us anything about this. Every time my husband had to give a sperm sample for analysis or IUI/IVF, they only ever said how many sperms there where ( ranging from 5 - 160 million ) they never said anything about the quality, so I just assumed we were good on that part. Turns out we're not... And of course our doctor can't be reached. Tried calling for 45 mins without getting through to a receptionist. And now their phone hours are over. So I have to try again tomorrow. If there's any downside to our welfare system, it's this sort of shit šš
OMG, if this is true...
According to one of the fertility clinics here, I can now get IUI treatments for free, with just a referal from my doctor.Ā
They say, The Danish Health Department has now changed their politics, and will now offer help with IUI, regardless of how many children you may or may not have. ( It used to be free treatments for the first child. And if you wanted a second or more, youād have to pay out of pocket)
I need to stalk the news and their website for some confirmation on this. Ā
I canāt think straight!!Ā
if a church cannot require payment for a sacrament, but then they do require payment for the things required for a sacrament, how is that any different? for example, OCIA classes cost money. and if the answer is "people SHOULD donate of their own volition, but because they dont, we have to regulate it a little bit to ensure the church can continue running" how is that any different than your argument against socialism vs charity?
Iām pretty sure that priests canāt say no to parishioners get access to sacraments if they canāt afford it. Whereas in socialism, youāre forced to pay for taxes regardless of whether you want to or not.
Ideally, we live in a world where most well-off people are donating their excess time and money in charity organizations that we donāt need a government-funded welfare system to help people out of poverty. Unfortunately we donāt so yeah we do need to tax people just a little bit so we can establish a safety net for people to get back on their feet if some crisis happens in their lives. But having that welfare system isnāt the same thing as socialism because people are only taxed a little bit. Similarly, having to regulate money a little bit within the church to keep it running isnāt the same thing being coerced under socialism or communism.
Not to mention that taxing people so much that able-bodied people are deciding to just live on welfare for the rest of their lives isnāt conducive to the flourishing of their souls because it encourages the sin of sloth.
High tax rates would inhibit the growth of economy and eventually you run out of other peopleās money to keep a socialist government running.
