it's also hilarious in a slightly sickening way to think about sisko having these complex feeling about picard and the borg and his wife's death. and then for picard to see sisko as "that awesome guy who punched q full in the face and it was really funny :)"
Watching Emissary again, and I gotta say, after the 4th or 5th time the wormhole aliens/Prophets asked "what is this?" I'd have been done. Sisko has wayyyyy more patience than I do.
