"A custom leather apron is a tool that you will use on every project." Patrick Melchior.   A leather apron provides protection and is comfortable to wear.  We use a crisscross adjustable system so it fits over anything you wear for cold/warm temperatures in your shop. Think about your most used tools, the ones you keep setting down, spend time looking for and have possibly dropped because of size. Those are the items with a home spot on your apron. They will always be safe, and at your fingertips...saving you time because you know where they are.  Some examples would be woodshop, salon, barista, jewelers and tattoo artist. We begin with 3-4 oz. full grain leather. This apron has a tape measure clip, a D- ring on right hip for a wet rag for glue-ups, a pocket for a 6" square, marking knife and multi-color pencils in reach. A hand pocket on the left or right side.  All hardware, clips, D-rings and adjustable buckles are made of 316 stainless steel.  The hem is rolled for durability and structure.  The 20 to 40 plus solid copper or brass rivets are hand peened. Polyester thread is use for its durability and strength, 5 stitches per inch. Strap anchor points are double reinforced, stitched and riveted.  The item to be placed on the apron are place by you.  If you are in the local area, we can arrange for a fitting.  If you live further, we will mail you a canvas template apron and arrange a video conference so we can help you place and discuss your apron. Wrapping up this custom, full grain ( with barbed wire scratches… nice) for @dangramsz watch the time lapse almost to the very end you’ll notice that my tripod fell off the workbench and I had to pick it up I thought it was kind of funny. A couple of unique features on Dan’s custom apron is the two squares he has stacked on his lower left side the reason being is when Dan will go up to mark a piece of wood he grabs the square with his left hand places that on the workpiece grabs his pencil or marking knife with his right hand and then scribes the line. Another feature I like is the large pocket off centered on his left side to easily put screws, a utility knife or just something for general-purpose pocket. Dan has taken to time and really put a lot of thought into the layout of his custom leather apron.
