i really like how you reblog heaps of birds btw. when I firststarted following you way back, at some point you had your queue lined up witha whole heap of birds and I was like ‘…yes. this is a good person’, in fact I’vecome to associate you with them??? about a year ago I was at the blue mountains(beautiful place) an a store was selling all these mini plushies of local birdsthat made their distinct chirping noises when you touch a button and I thought ‘wowcasey would love these’ and then just the other month I was at mt fuji andthere were little pins of local birds in that area and I thought the samething.

He wasn't sure how to say goodbye after everything she'd said. So he didn't. Raven took him to her tent to talk to him about the radio, and he nodded to Lincoln to get ready. He'd say goodbye to Octavia later. That was the only goodbye he could really do. 

Octavia hugged him before he left. 

"This better work or I'll kick your ass," she said to him before letting go. 

He smiled sadly down at her. "If it doesn't work, I don't think you'll get that chance."

Octavia's face hardened and she glanced, stony eyed over to Clarke and he knew she was thinking of what Clarke had said the night before. It's worth the risk. 

But he wasn't. He was thinking of his sister and how he needed to make sure Lincoln got back to her, and he was thinking of what Raven told him the night before, and how he needed to get her family back to her because she couldn't lose any more, and he was thinking of his friends alone in the mountain, waiting for him to get them, and he was thinking of five little words that were haunting him, five little words that crept into his mind whenever there was the tiniest it of open space, five little word he wished he'd never heard.

Were you afraid of monsters hiding under your bed?

actually, i was far more afraid of jack frost. when i was 5 or 6, my sister's friend told me a story about how he sits on the lawn outside your bedroom at night and watches you sleep. if your hand hangs down from the edge of the bed, he'll cut off your fingers with his mind powers. same for your toes if you let your foot hang out. sometimes in the morning, there's an icy patch where around where he's been sitting. also sometimes his eyes are red and glow in the dark. being the most gullible, chopper-like child i was, i believed this for a long time. 

and then, about 13 years later, rotg came out and i discovered that that fucker does no such thing.

What’s your favorite thing to cook?? (Come on we can all cook something (yes even you)) Uhh, I do cook basic stuff, but I don't really enjoy it?!?! But cooking can always be fun if you do it with someone you care about and have fun with!

How do you like the sky best? A mix of bright blue with wispy clouds--something that's bright, but still blocks the direct sun itself so I don't go blind.

Favorite outdoor sounds? Birds chirping softly with dried leaves in fall crunching under my feet.
