My co-workers that I talk to and eat lunch with everyday just made plans together in front of me without inviting me. I had a feeling but I guess i know now that I'm THAT coworker It obvs sucks but I'm not that bothered. They're not really my kinda crowd anyway.
What to do when you’re angry at yourself for saying something stupid
This is not study-related but when I feel like this I can’t concentrate, so I’ll just share it with you and hope it might help someone!
Do you know that feeling when you’ve been out with friends or just a group of people and you said something for which you feel really bad at home? I feel like that a lot actually - then I feel stupid and I kind of dislike myself and stuff. Here are some things I do when that happens.
1. Write it out!
That’s actually what I’m doing at the moment. But most of the time I’ll get one of my notebooks and write out what I said, or what I feel like, or what I think went wrong, etc. And then when you read it again it seems not as important and dramatical anymore.
2. Distract yourself!
Read a book or if you can’t concentrate just watch something stupid or funny or weird or interesting on Netflix or YouTube. I like to watch tons of BuzzFeed videos - they usually make me feel pretty good. All that helps to make you feel better or to maybe just forget it.
3. Treat yourself!
So, take a hot bath or make yourself a cup of tea and snuggle yourself up in a cosy blanket with some popcorn or chocolate (both being natural antidepressants!) No matter what you said, you’re not a bad person!
4. Talk to your best friend!
Most of the time I’ll just tell my best friend what has happened. Sometimes I see how the things I said weren’t even that bad, sometimes she just calms me down saying I overreact. Remember, you’re still talking to your best friend, the person in the world that loves you no matter what stupid things you say!
5. Try to see things from their perspective!
MOST IMPORTANT THING! If you actually think about it, they probably won’t even think about what you said let alone speak about it! Do you think about everything every single person in the room said? (Well, sometimes I do but I don’t judge them or even hate them just because of a few sentences).
Maybe this helps anyone! And if you have any additional tips (believe me, I need them) or questions or you just want to talk - just write to me! xx
my brain is too active that doing only one thing would bore me and i can’t focus again until i add another task to what’s i’m doing
I think I'm becoming even weirder than I already was

Part of me wants no friends at all and isolation and the other part of me wants just one person to be close with, and adventure with~
i swear every follower i have is because my popular best friend follows me.
