For the first time, I summoned a 4-star special rate character I really wanted, Faye! She is my fifth 4-star special rate character, and four of the five are from Shadows of Valentia.
It’s fitting that I summoned Alm as my first 4-star special rate character, then summoned Celica the same way soon after. No distance can keep those two apart—the power of their love transcends games, worlds, consoles and time. And nothing can keep Faye from Alm!

Both Ryoma and Legendary Ryoma were available on banners at the same time, so I tried summoning for them since they’re on my “most wanted units list.” At first I had no luck on the Legendary banner, but extremely weird luck on the normal rerun banner. I kept summoning Roy and Eliwood over and over again, and summoned several new 3 and 4-star characters from recent New Heroes banners (Miranda, Knoll, Lex.) I also summoned my first normal Caeda! Weirdly enough, I summoned Zelgius with my free summon, THEN summoned him two summons later, and AGAIN later on!
All three Zelgius were +Defense/Resistance and -Attack. I also summoned Laevatein (I love her design!) and Saber.
The next day, I summoned Legendary Ryoma on my first summon. Then on the other banner, after six summons, I summoned Ike, immediately followed by normal Ryoma!
I’m sticking to my theory that free summons are rigged with a higher summoning chance, because I recently summoned Brave Lucina with one, too.
This is probably to make people think they have good luck on the banner so they’ll spend more. It certainly worked; I spent about 200 orbs (half my orbs) and it was definitely worth it for everything I picked up along the way.

I had very weird summoning luck recently. First I summoned Silque from the first new Voting Gauntlet banner with a free summon! Then with the free summon from the second new Voting Gauntlet banner I summoned Sara—even though she is in the upcoming Voting Gauntlet, she wasn’t actually included on that banner! I summoned her from the normal 5-star summoning pool. What a bizarre coincidence. Then after that, I summoned my first 4-star Lena, consecutively followed by 5-star Lena!
After a long dry spell of 3 and 4-star characters, on my 35th summon, at last I summoned Julian! I was close to 40, so I decided to go for the free 5-star character and get a second Julian. The first Julian had an awful asset and flaw (+Defense -Speed,) so I like having a neutral Julian, too. Generally I do not merge 5-star units.
I was a little annoyed about the recent announcement of gaining new Celestial Stones for summoning a free unit after 40 summons. This feature will be implemented next week. If only this banner had happened a week later.
On a side note, I love Julian’s art (aside from the fact he is in profile) and I love even more that Julian mentions Rickard twice. I’m one of the only people who cares, but I really hope this is a sign that Rickard will appear on the next Shadow Dragon/Mystery of the Emblem banner!
3rd time in this playthrough is when I get the Neptune's Glaive. Whyyyy? 😾 It would've been so much better if I got Iridium band instead.
Fire Emblem Heroes 35th Anniversary Daily Revival Banners Log Day 2
I’m keeping log of my results on the daily summoning events happening for the Fire Emblem 35th anniversary. I’ll post whoever I summon as a free summon on each one.
Day 1: Banners 1-6
Revival Banner 7: Stahl (4⭐️)
Sent home.
Revival Banner 8: Seliph (4⭐️)
Kept. +Attack is a good boon for him.
Revival Banner 9: Thea (3⭐️)
Sent home.
Revival Banner 10: Tharja (4⭐️)
Made into a combat manual.
Revival Banner 11: Altena (4⭐️)
Kept. +Attack is also a good boon for her.
Revival Banner 12: Athena (4⭐️)
Kept for merges. I like her and already have another Athena at 5-star.
Today was a lackluster day for summoning on the revival banners, but I summoned Summer Freyja by using my 4-star Special Hero summoning ticket from yesterday. I like her, she's a good unit and I don't already have her.
